>>511266927been in Florida for the last near 40 years. the south east is a beautiful place. easily experienced by driving down/up the east coast at the right time of year.. like near fall when its cooling off and the trees are changing colors. the thing is they remain green in Florida, but as you get more north you see more colors. it makes me feel bad for people who've spent too much time in one place. like those old cobblestone streets in europe, with catacombs and such beneath them. maybe thats part of their problem. they're stuck in that one place and people keep showing up from other parts of the world and its disharmonious.. off-beat.. out of tune. like listening to bad music.
but escape to some rural place that is in its natural state? theres a peace that will take over you no matter who you are or where you come from or what you believe. like theres less reasons to resent each other. we're all just out here living our lives in the shire... sad innit? my central florida domain is more like the shire than england in many ways
i see North America as the missing piece of Europe. you guys got the short end of the stick when the world broke in half. you were left with this small chunk.. the rest of it was buried under water.. (Atlantis) but then one day those massive lakes and such drained away revealed all the plains, forests, jungles.. and thats why Europeans deserved to come here, had good reason to.. the native americans? they had so much empty and unused space they didn't even look at it as if it was "theirs" in that sense.. like imperialists would. so when people showed up like.. can we live here? its like.. look around at the vast wilderness.. why couldn't you live here? like what are you talking about, idiot?
but euros are definitely in their element here.
