Capitalism is when the elite are allowed to hoard infinite material on a finite planet. I hate Communism. I want 1950's American corperate tax rate, no taxation on those making less than 100k and no property tax on those with only one house. The people who do the actual WORK should make 40% more than they do now, the elite that sit and make commands should make LESS, corperations and foreign nations should not be able to buy houses, the MILLIONS of houses hoarded by BlackRock should be SEIZED and SOLD to CITIZENS for cheap. You should OWN, not RENT.

I have been told over and over and over that this makes me a Socialist. I finally said "Okay" and openly label myself as a Socialist. You created a new Socialist. Been one since Christmas as I said.

The word capitalism and the way it's used was codified by marxists and when used by marxists basically just means "whatever I don't like"
That is of course completely useless for conversation. So if we're gonna talk about Capitalism, I need a definition that actually means something that can be adressed in a way that's not just "what communists don't like", because then any attack against capitalism is just a push for communism, and I assume I'm not talking to communists right now.

They say they're gonna do something good, or more often say they're gonna do something bad but tell us that the bad thing is good, and then they fuck it up and the little bit they do right they waste hundreds of times the resources needed on doing.

What we're currently experiencing isn't even real capitalism, the government keeps interfering with stuff like the real estate market by preventing the investment firms and property buyers from suffering the consequences of their stupidity and having the market auto-correct.
However having a government properly implement anti-trust laws and prevent the formation of ultra rich types that can do whatever they want because they have near infinite wealth is also, technically, not capitalism, so i agree with you on your latter bit. I'm fine with blaming all the current economic issues on capitalism, even if it occasionally bothers me a bit that this isn't real capitalism we're bemoaning.
