I have been depressed since 2013 as a 14 year old, failing some courses although I was selected for the gifted students program. I just didn't have faith in the system anymore, and so I read humdreds of wikipedia articles on philosophy and logic. To me it made more sense to have the world centralized under one technocratic government, being materialistic and empirical, autocratic and distributive. The inefficency of the world in reference to this ideal government made me realize there had to be a global shadow government that is already trying to do this, but by their evil nature, let untold millions of people die for their great plan of centralizing global control. So I started browsing this site, happy to have my suspicions verified. Ten years later I was still depressed, at risk of being a "failure to start" man, still browsing this site, but much more intellectually well verses; the Summa Theologia, Vom Kriege, the stoics, tens of history books, books on logic, etc on top of my STEM education. This has informed me of a much better system that I am currently working on. I am much more optimistic knowing that the global elite are not much worse than despots before and are in many more ways less competent. My STEM education informs me that technological progressivism is impossible; there will be no utopia until the Second Coming. It's 2025, and I still have some paranoia and anxiety problems. But I'm my own man now, the Pope's American, the sign tapping benefits are here while there's no gay war for us to be drafted into, and a based war with China is something I would happily die in since I was a teenager. So, maybe put me in the 8%. Also /pol/ must watch WhatIfAltHist and Schwerpunkt, Holy Tradition so back.
