>>511296567My ex wife was wonderful to date, not perfect, but I don't think she ever displayed the typical "red flag" signs of being someone who would one day start treating me badly (silent treatment, gaslighting, blame shifting, etc). She divorced me because I wouldn't play her games, so I know how to get out of a situation like that again, but I no longer know how to get "in" to a relationship because, like you, I don't have the energy to do anything.
I won't approach a lady, I won't ask for a number, I probably won't even ask them about themselves even if they are pretty. They need to completely pursue me and make me feel like I'm the best thing since sliced bread and maybe then I can be bothered.
Thanks about the legal troubles. Yeah, "back the blue" is stupid. I argued with the cops who infringed on my 4th amendment (by not having a reasonable suspicion / probable cause) so that they could infringe on my 2nd. They grabbed me faster than I could even think to draw and then abducted me (false arrest)...and after much explaining about how constitutional law supersedes state law, they just said, "Well, we enforce state law". I don't want anyone dying, but there are some people out there who will never get the words through their skulls and so they're asking for a bullet through it.
I mean that strictly in a self defense kind of way, no aggression, just defending one's self from tyrants. For example when the mafia shows up unannounced at your church, demands your papers, steps you outside and then disarms you and tosses you into a squad car for going against their imaginary rules that threaten every mafia member or something...I dislike cops as a general rule so much that I wouldn't even call the fire department because the police often show up too.
