My son is 2 and non-verbal austistic.
He drones and yells a lot of the day and occasionally repeats the end of sentences (ready-set-GO!) but that’s it. I love him no matter what but it’s pretty much over. Can’t imagine how the poor little guy is going to have a nice life. It also hurts that he’s never clearly called me Dad (occasionally the right syllables come out, but it seems to be a coincidence). My voice is hoarse from reading books and role-playing with toys. It’d be nice if one day we could kick the footy together. Thanks for reading my blog.
