My son is 2 and non-verbal austistic.
He drones and yells a lot of the day and occasionally repeats the end of sentences (ready-set-GO!) but that’s it. I love him no matter what but it’s pretty much over. Can’t imagine how the poor little guy is going to have a nice life. It also hurts that he’s never clearly called me Dad (occasionally the right syllables come out, but it seems to be a coincidence). My voice is hoarse from reading books and role-playing with toys. It’d be nice if one day we could kick the footy together. Thanks for reading my blog.

Knew a guy who had a non verbal kid and he changed his kids diet to nothing processed. You shouldn't be giving him sugar and processed carbs there's lots of studies. Fuck doctors. If mom can talk to him, might be more effective. Associating words with various things is good. Lots of "I love you son"s when you hug. Teaching "thank you", "I love you dad | mom", "good morning | evening" associates with reality that you are a family.
All I can add is, I really tend to believe by direct experience and observation, that diagnosing a child as autistic / non verbal is harmful. Maybe for fresh perspective, look to learning life again through him, that refreshed discovery, and that the right syllables come out for "Dad" that is awesome.

Repetitive language was something i had significant issues with when i started speaking. Hey mate. My boy is verbal but appart from that it's the same story. First thing first, you'll get a shitload of bullshit from US user, despite most scientific progress coming from there. Second thing, I only know few couples like us, but everytime it came from one of the two parents. For me, my wife was undiagnosed. You might want to check yours but since you're browsing 4chins start with yourself, lel.

For my boy:
-Due to a medicine his mom had to take during pregnancy he was born low sugar level but the docs knew it would be a thing so it was monitored and fixed at birth.
-He was born eyes wide open seeking his gaze right into mine.
-He was breastfed and his mom being undiagnosed she was controlling her intakes and making sure she got extra probiotics, especially after taking antibiotics.
-He slept with us, mostly because we love him but also because autist kids are wired differently and he would just NOT give up on crying while we tried to put him in his own bed. It was like two or three hours straight of yielling his lungs out but the landowner was living upstairs so eventually we stopped trying before he get the idea to kick us out.
-He got most of the jabs his mom and I got at his age but we had to make a fuss because nowaday they come in stupid super cocktails and we wanted less and one by one. We straight up refused stuff you catch by sharing needles or having intercourses. He can catch up on that at early teenagehood. Told them it was insane and I didn't intend to bring my boy into orgies. They hated it but fuck them.
-From 2 months old it was really clear he was painfully different because he just won't sit there or lie down like other babies looking half asleep, quiet and absent. Constant need for interaction. Like if it's cooking time you don't leave him in the high chair but you carry him to the cooker, give him a spare spatula and let him mess the food with you so you can turn anger and frustation for both into good memories.

-He started to walk past 17 months and making real words instead of constant babbling past 20 months. Now he's top of his class so yeah "genius" starts late, no big deal.

-By 5 yo to 7 yo he will learn to read and from then you're free again. They will read books for hours if jot whoe day on their own instead of expecting you to answer every single question or participate in quizz challenge or play the maze they just draw etc. For me I love my boy so we lie next to each other on the floor and read a different book each.

Also of note, most recent progresses on autism point to different brain connections but pro-biotics lessen most symptoms. It checks out with most autists having tummy troubles (mostly pains). It's worth a shoot on your side.

He was smiling and laughing, he was cooing and babbling. He was just too much, all the time. He had a caretaker as soon as 4 month old mostly because his mom was burned out. It's normal for austistic women to barely cope with their infant but she was undiagnozed at the time so she just felt horrible. Once at the caretaker, seeing the other kids roughly his age just lying there like half conscious fucking hylic and realizing mine was supposed to be like this instead of so awake was mind breaking and kind of infuriating to be honest. Things started to be easier once we understood it was mostly frustration because he wanted to do like us instead of sitting on his baby ass. That means carrying him over where tou go and play pretending his helping somehow.

By the age we were to switch from breastfeeding to solid food shit started to get real again because you start with purée and the like but my boy 'tism texture trigger is anything mousse-like, from mash to yoghurt. I work with autistic kids, everything from headbangers to High IQ spergs. if you teach them to communicate (hand signs, writing, pointing to print outs) they actually become more normal over time. The big problem with autism is the brain-body disconnect so if you can take them out of their head and coax them to exist in the physical world things change fast. Its a sprint, not a marathon. Hmmm, I just fact checked you, and you're right on the money. I'm having a kid in a year or so and I am moderately concerned about the vaccination schedule for modern infants. Seems excessive and I think spreading it over a longer period of time is healthier considering the heavy metals. Only the HPV one at 9 is recombinant as well, and you're right the risk of Hep B is basically zero unless the mom has it. I've heard about the vitamin K super shot to help clotting as well, what's the issue with it?
