kinda misleading because the left shows the past and the right shows the future, but the present is omitted.
change is always to be judged by the question if it will improve things, and how would you judge that if you aren't being shown the current state of things?

Elon is always selling this idea that Ex Machina tier waifus are almost here. sexy robots. elegance in form.

and the product is a cartoon and a big asimo.

20yrs ago, maybe 15 there was videos of robotics in japan where a robot fish was accepted in the school because they had modeled the fish behavior so well. college nerds were making ants that formed colonies and routes. 20 fucking years and the progress is that now the cartoon talks at you like a babbling idiot and the asimo is big and costs $500k or something.

nobody even expects flying cars anymore because nobody would be stupid enough to get in one Elon made. the future is fucking bullshit.

Less pointless work is better.
If people are preferable to robots they will beat them, as frankly as robots are incredibly costly and prone to unexpected failure ESPECIALLY when compared to humans.

So ironically waiters will likely be spared by AI relatively much.

the techno communist utopia requires successful automation. the justification for government monopoly is that industry fails to exist due to economies of scale. the electric company is better at generating your electricity than you are.

i know all the trannies and homos want ubi but it's not fucking coming from machine advances the way you guys think. we can absolutely already afford communism. the reason you will never get it the way you want is because the obvious next targets for nationalization due to natural monopolistic tendencies is Monsanto, Comcast, Google, maybe pharma.

it's none of the people anyone is going after and everyone doing the going after is paid by the rightful targets anyway.

He's literally not
He's literally saying that tech billionaires are taking jobs with no recompense and all they're leaving are soulless humanoids, so we get none of the human interaction, none of the benefits, all the goyslop, all the surveillance, and a replication of human interaction that is meaningless because billionaires need profit chart to go up
Sexbots would always exist regardless, but they're going to be pushed harder because of the possible profits being made. Losers like me who always preferred sexbots are going to be lumped in with ordinary normies forcibly disillusioned and dissatisfied with society and offered a false alternative to normie girlfriends and wives not because they genuinely want those robots or anything (they're going to be raging against them the entire time) but because that's all (((bossmen))) will give them
It's the shitty version of technocommunism
It's not spicy Russian revolutionary technocommunism at all because that would actually be exciting. No instead you get shitty Berkeley California granola blue-haired girl-who-listens-to-Rise Against too much style technocommunism, but MAYBE with Musk you get an ugly ""Aryan"" waifubot instead of the Democrat-approved black nappy-haired sheboon with gray-skin sexbot they would have offered you otherwise

low IQ retards are EXACTLY who you wanna be giving tax breaks like that to. for one, its not that big of a tax base anyways, so no real loss. but moreover, theyre the ones that will spend that money frivolously, locally, and in numbers. consumer spending is everything to modern economies. if you cant keep that up, its recession time.
so imagine actually stimulating the economy for once by giving all the poor ppl more money, only instead of just fucking printing it like obongo stimulus checks, or the memeflu checks, you just have the govt stop stealing that one very small amount
literally does the same thing, but it works better, and on both ends, so no inflation

Yes, and that's exactly why industrial automation is one of the [very] few issues the American left and the American right have the same opinions on. Both the Dems and the Repubs are anti-industrial-automation because the mass-importation of third-world scab labour (and the subsequent enrichment of the business-owners who abuse undocumented migrant labour, the H1B system, and mass job-offshoring) is one of the Uniparty's core policies.

What I don't understand is why anyone wants those jobs? I have worked them. You know in a perfect world, where everyone was nice and respected, it wouldn't be bad. It could be fun to be the guy behind the counter at a old school burger / diner or something. But the need for convenience and drive-thru's etc, makes it a very unpleasant experience, not to mention the different tiers of patrons that you encounter.

I am also an automation engineer, and I would rather spend my time operating / maintaining robots that do the work, and I get paid more, and there are few people, which is only better for the environment, etc

>Feet lettuce
Pretty deceiving to show service in 50s America.
All those videos of hygienic acts and disgusting acts.
Before when the business depended on service they would at least try to get good people. Now with delivery they do not care, you get Blindsided by human fluids and feces.
You would stop taking door dash. If you only knew.
After COVID I started to use a delivery app, over 4 years without going to the store. Quality going down, even basic orders messed up, the business is doing well, many orders they are having a hard Time mi to keep up and messing up. I wonder, after being there again and seeing the people I wondered no more.

AI is filling vacancies in human interaction.

Bernie has a cool photo from the 70s, but women don't act like that anymore.
The fact that people would rather talk to AIs is telling.
