Rapture: an end-time event when all dead Christian believers will be resurrected and, joined with Christians who are still alive, together will rise "in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air."
Who's bringing them up? What Lord? The Chosen one's Lord? Don't the Jews think they're Chosen? Perhaps they are, but chosen for what?
Rapture as a word comes from rape, the taking of things. Raping the fruits of the land, for example, harvesting crops. In Dutch we still use "raap dat op" and "oprapen" and phrases for "(to) pick that up" and "picking up".
Taking something from the farmer's daughter, her virginity, her hymen, her market value in familial diplomacy in the middle ages.
Rapture means picking people up and taking them away.
But if aliens do that, what would they do it for? Benevolent aliens wouldn't save people on Earth by removing them, no, they'd save Earthlings by killing the especially difficult to find malicious people in charge, and by teaching Earthlings how to stand up for themselves.
If on the other hand you're a bad guy and you wanna avoid your lethal fate, you're gonna get a ship and get the fuck out.
Why not call a ship in, and bring a bunch of people with you for use on board?
>for use as what?Livestock of course.
Read Revelation word for word and read it with care.
There are explicit instructions for what you should do.
Now is the patience of the saints.
The way out isn't a space ship. It's described as something very different.
