I study the immune system, and there's this ability that's not yet understood, instead of killing the invading pathogen the immune system tries to isolate its DNA and then the immune system hybrids itself with the pathogen, in order to make what appears to be a pathogen-shitting immune system cell. When other immune system cells recognize this has been done, copies of the immune system cell with markers for where the virus is, is replicated but with parts chopped off of it, so you can make "half-hobbling invading pathogens" and now you have an immune system cell shitting weakened prey. This subdividing occurs again and again, until the Thalimus is able to find a protien that locks on without triggering on anything else, and from there, you can then "walk in" toward the original t-helper producing pathogens, now you can defeat the invader.
