I'm 43M, never dated or even approached women in my life, for various reasons (chiefly I am ugly).

I used to (past tense) want a relationship, but that was before I was told again, and again how much work they are, how hard it is and honestly....I saw and heard alot of really bitter people talking about or to me about thier experiences.

At my age I'm completely disillusioned with women, relationships, and everything to do with it.

I dont know about any loneliness epidemic, and I dont care either, my own survival comes first, and in today's world it's not getting any easier
