Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia all resent Thailand for their economic success.

You're literally prostituting your own women in addition to Burmese immigrants to make ends meet.

Not women, only men. Also funny coming from a country that uses khazar milker memes to garner support from jeets.

That's a small percentage of Thais. Shall I pull up Israeli prostitution facts?

I've been to Thailand and there was literally a brothel in every street corner masquerading as a massage parlour. That's without counting the street prostitutes, the escorts, and the ladyboy bars. What the fuck are you two on about?

You're not doing the "Jewish sex-pest" stereotype any favors.

No they really don't. Don't fall for Jewish divide and conquer tactics. We have visa free for the nation's for a reason. We are allies. Don't let Jews trick you into fighting each other to weaken you and then claim control for themselves.

If you actually went there, you'd know that most tourists are normies who don't engage in cooming with the natives.

The only reason you have success is because you embrace the Farang. We literally made you rich with all our tourism and our entrepreneurship. Half of the self-employed people in Thailand are Whites. Not saying it's a bad thing. I salute you for being open for business. But it's still the truth. Was in Thailand in 2012. Loved it there, besides the diarrhea and the heat.

Thailand might shine brightly when you’re strolling through Bangkok’s glittering malls and tourist hotspots, but step outside the capital, and you’ll find a completely different story. The rural areas where the majority live are trapped in a cycle of poverty and neglect that makes them look like a forgotten third-world backwater.

Despite a nominal GDP per capita of around $7,182 (2024), this number is heavily skewed by Bangkok and a few wealthy urban centers. Most rural Thais scrape by on less than $3 a day, with limited access to decent healthcare, education, or stable employment. The national poverty rate sits around 10%, but in the countryside, it’s often double that reflecting how unevenly wealth is distributed.

Healthcare in these areas is a joke: clinics are sparse, hospitals are hours away, and poor infrastructure means urgent care is often unreachable. Preventive medicine is basically non-existent, so chronic illnesses go untreated, crushing quality of life and life expectancy.

Education follows the same grim pattern. Rural schools lack qualified teachers and resources, leaving students trapped in low-achievement cycles with little hope for upward mobility. English education, crucial for global competitiveness, is almost entirely absent outside the cities.

Thailand’s economy leans heavily on tourism and cheap labor, but the financial gains rarely trickle down beyond Bangkok’s flashy skyline. For millions outside the capital, life means subsistence farming, meager wages, and systemic corruption that ensures the rich stay rich while the poor remain forgotten.

So before anyone starts boasting about fighter jets or flashy nightlife, remember: the real Thailand isn’t the tourist brochures. it’s a country still shackled by deep inequality, struggling to keep its rural population from falling further behind.
