You can't create cold out of nothing and when it is hot billions of Heatpumps and AC's steal cold from the heat outside cauing it to became even hotter
This is the cause of global warming.

You're wrong. It's not the dispersed heat from the AC. It's mostly how the AC is fueled. If you have solar panels it's negligible. If it's fueled by a fossilfuels then it's worse but it's still very low compared to before. Stop spreading fake climate change propaganda and if you're gonna do it at least try to be accurate with your statements.

This. These heat pumps use a gas that goes from cold to hot depending on the pressure its subjected. If it's -20 celsius outside, that gas can easily be decompressed to -60 celsius, to although it's "cold" outside, what really matters is the delta between these two (temperature difference).

This -60 celsius gas (which is liquid by now since on the exterior unit) then absorbs whatever heat is out there. If it's at -60 and outside is -20, then it will probably even out around -40, but then when it's rotated to the interior unit, compression is applied. This gas has special properties so its temperature moves FAST. A little compression and it gets even hotter in the interior unit before its heat is dissipated into the residence. When you switch from heating to cooling, it pretty much inverts how the system works. I love heat pumps SO MUCH specially AIR-WATER pumps which also heat water

It's not due to any-one-thing, but a multitude of factors. Ultimately it's counterproductive to attempt to slow down warming. Instead, we should focus more on technological advancement until we can create feasible tech to make a solar shade that would reflect 5-10% of all sunlight, thus cooling down the planet. 99% of all heat is from the sun and the biggest greenhouse gas is water vapor. The only realistic solution is a solar shade or reflective mirror, that would be used to manipulate climate. With it we could retake the various deserts and fix drought stricken regions.

So I reemphasize that focus should be on technological advancement above all else.

Yes, of course. There are different kinds of technology. We're in the middle of the dirty phase, utilizing carbon fuels because we don't have more advanced tech yet that's cheaper, abundant, safe, and more convenient, to replace them. Electric cars are a step forward but the energy that powers them has to be nuclear, preferably fusion. And hey if you disagree you can stop using the internet right now and go live innawoods because you're contributing to global warming with your retard takes.

The real cause of global warming is since the 1970's CFCs were used and finally banned, but then the Chinese decided to use spray foam that contains CFCs and doubled the size of the hole in the ozone layer.

I can't believe how many retards in the thread don't understand heat transfer. Yes an AC essentially takes heat from your house and spits it outside. If every single home/building has one, then it is not inconceivable that it is contributing to the heat in a city, increasing the "heat island" effect (along with black asphalt roads, etc).

All things equal I guarantee a city where every home has an AC will be warmer than a city where no homes have an AC.

All that heat has to GO somewhere, and with thousands of these fans blowing heat out every second I don't doubt that it contributes to higher temperatures.
