Why did Trump shill the Epstein files so hard if he knew he were in it?

It's a good question. But you can ask the same kind of thing about a lot of Trump's other nonsensical decisions. All you can do is say "it's 4D chess"

Because he never raped any kids. A lot of people are in the files. Trump cooperated with law enforcement before in a previous investigation of epstein. So Trump would be in the files as someone that knew Epstein and had interactions with him. People seem to conflate files and list and think there is some master list that is being covered up. There probably isnt a master list thats exclusively the people who raped kids. Just files on people who had contact with him and probably most of them didnt rape kids. This wont be satisfying to some so they will continue to believe there is some master list that can be exposed and save the world from le evil pedo cabal. Thats some capeshit thinking. That list doesnt exist. But they'll believe it was covered it up and if only drumpf didnt cover it up he could saved the world but he didnt so fuck drumpf and he didnt do anything good

The admin postured that the Epstein Saga would be settled to appease the public and figured they could just memory-hole it as:
"it's currently being taken care of and justice is being appropriately served, don't worry about it"
or
"the damned liberal Dems are blocking justice to protect their pedophile friends" theater.

According to you. Someone else might say its that Trump raped kids. The whole thing is very convoluted at this point and nothing that is released will be satisfactory for some and there is no way to prove what is released was or wasnt edited. So I dont think much more is going to happen with "the epstein files" or "the epstein list " . Maybe im wrong. It just seems highly unlikely that anything happens other than a nothing burger
