Get some traffic cones, quikcrete, a used pallet, and some nails. pry some planks off the pallet and make a swastika mold. Go out at 2am, put cones around pothole, lay down mold and poour quikcrete. Leave everything as is. Check back a day or two later, both your creation and the pothole will magically be fixed.

That’s establishment politics. Plus potholes are either city, state, or federal. You have to look up who owns that street and complains directly to them.
