It allows us to dig our heels in, and acheive things a lot of other groups of people wouldn't tolerate condition wise, which lead to the empire's dominance in every biome across the world

Do you even know what the state apparatus is and how it's made precsely so the government stays intact and it's meant to crush the dissent. For people to rebel there has to be some sort of hunger or some major economic crisis to happen, otherwise it's extremely risky to ruin your life over politics when most people don't care about you
