Boomers be like
>there was no autism when I was growing up
>anyway I will now go downstairs for my Thursday play session with my model trains, if anyone bothers me from 5pm to 8pm I will throw a tantrum, and do NOT touch my spoon collection!

Because women got pregnant earlier. It’s that easy. Now Kys you filthy kike.

In reality, "autism" is as popular an affectation as homosexuality these days. Up to 1/4 of students claim to be 'non-binary' and it is clear that this is fucking ridiculous; that they're doing it to be special. Similarly, "autism" has become something many people now claim to have, or to "be on the spectrum" in order to appear more intelligent than they actually are.

The reality is that autism has a child banging their fucking heads on the wall, not playing with trains in the basement.

Autism back then was having a weird hobby or being quirky. You were still able to grow up and live normally
Compare to autism today where you are a complete unsocialized shutin, at best, and more likely some form of degenerate.

It's a spectrum
Some autists are nonverbal and unpredictable, others are indistinguishable from normal people until you interact with them
