Well i mean when you relatively refer to your own sense of right and wrong you're basically implying you're God when you're not. What Satan did at the Garden with the knowledge of good and evil muddled you're ability to stay in God's judgement because the knowledge tempts you into idolizing yourself.
God doesn't show favoritism, the world hates this because the law which everyone has in the minds, gives them an identity that they're attached to because it allows them to boast in what they are/aren't doing.
This is why religion is actually working against God and this is obviously why in the end times Satan has a one world religion that assimilated everything under one roof to get man prepared to worship him over God.

Satan knowingly tempted eve to sin with the knowledge of good and evil so that it would open the path to get man to choose Satan over God. This is why you see religions and philosophies all giving you a vaneer of glory and trying to bait man into referring to what he does so that when Satan comes out with the antichrist and does the most wild perfect shit that man wishes he could do, he's going to captivate everyone with his feats into worshipping him as if he's God, when he's obviously not.

So everything you've ever been gaslit and conditioning into wanting because you were raised in a context where you have to merit everything. Its a false dichotomy, and thats what the gospel is suggesting entirely. Thats why the world kills believers thinking they enable the very behavior that the accusers are exhibiting, when they go about doing exactly that anyway.
