It's really not that insane of a concept for Europe.
Everyone knows you let way too many in. People around the world would much rather have Paris be French like its glamourized rather than a grimy city filled with gangs of africans and syrians forever, at the permanent loss of that culture. If I wanted to see syrian culture I'd go to fucking syria.
We won't even need to population replacement because we'll just use automation and AI for the missing labor.

I've been involved in 2 different acquisitions of startups based in Sweden in the mid 00s before the whole muslims are ruining southern sweden became a known international story. both acquisitions the startup required the relocation of all staff to the US was non-negotiable term.
