If causality is absolute, then where did everything begin? Nothing comes from nothing. Was it another universe? Where did that universe come from? Is it turtles all the way down? Did cosmic complexity arise from an elaborate series of coincidences, with each step occurring in just the right way at just the right time in just the right order? Did life also arise from mere coincidences? The only rational conclusion is that causality acting upon inanimate matter alone cannot explain everything. There must be a time and place where causality stops applying but reality continues. If the answer is not God then our existence makes no sense.

You cannot "love yourself" as popular culture would have you believe - this was the single thing that convinced me that God is "other" but also part of everything - the Holy spirit IS God, and dwells within.

The only place that you will find this is in the orthodox, traditional Christian Church - not Hinduism, Budhism, Judaism, Islam, or any other "religion". There is "religion" and there is Christ. They are not the same thing.

The fact that popular culture tells you to "love yourself" is enough to tell you that it is not the direction you want to go, friend. Love is infinite, "yourself" is finite. God IS Love - in order to find Heaven, well, you have to Love infinitely.

When you have children, you understand, that were you to have 10 children, your love only grows, it is not a finite resource.
