That said, I have always, always fought with people about how percentages work when you scale up and then back down again. Where its like 100 is 50% higher if its 200%. No its 100% higher. The reason it *MUST* be 50% higher according to official math is you *MUST* be able to then go "Alright now drop it back, ha ha see 50%, 50%!"

So a drug that has gone up in price from $1 to $13 would go back down to $1. Where as a drug that hasn't gone up in price would stay the same.
So something like insulin would lower in price while a drug that is new on the market wouldn't because its price hasn't gone up since it was initially offered.
