In Europe, there is no landscaping to block your view. The roundabouts there look desolate and dystopian, making it easy to see cars coming so you know if you have to yield or not well before you get to the entrance of the roundabout.
In the USA, landscaping / overgrown bushes block everyone's view, essentially turning the yield into stops because you cannot see the traffic through the overgrown shrubbery until you get to the entrance of the roundabout.

I traverse roundabouts regularly in my area, and at least once a week there is a retard that STOPS in the traffic circle to allow others to merge in, fuckin up the whole traffic flow. I understand how to use a roundabout, and I drive through one occasionally, but I don't really see point. I remember the way a few areas were before they were put in and I don't remember any traffic congestion. It does kind of seem like pointlessly antagonizing people for some abstract benefit that only some bureaucrat cares about since it will waste taxpayer money.

I spend a ton of time in the US with my extended family and I love Florida, but if there's one thing that annoys the shit out of me its the driving.
I-95 is an absolute death trap.
Keep on the right, pass on the left, use blinkers, keep safe distance to the car ahead of you. Pay attention and don't use your phone while driving. It's not rocket science yet a majority of drivers fail at it.
