humans themselves have worse direct effect on animal life than byproducts of humans does, like human waste which is radioactive, it doesnt bother animals

the frogs live normally 4 years in the wild, the radioactive frogs also live 4 years, no change in their lifespan, therefore we can assume radioactivity is not a burden for frogs

on the other hand Canis Ternopilis, a wolf species in chernobyl, lives 1/3 shortened live than normal European wolf lives for example in Belarus

but the tshernobyl wolf looks completely normal, no change in color or anything, it just lives a bit shorter, and we dont know why

This isn't news, animal populations can adapt to nearly anything and the faster their lifecycle the faster they adapt, or the vacuum is filled by another species.

the wolves don't get cancer. the ones who got cancer died and the current ones have evolved not to get cancer from the radiation. they are doing gene stuff to find out what genes have been mutated or expressed or whatever to remove the tumors from growing.

Fascinating. Should make a genomic comparison (with an eye on non-coding) sequences. Could have to do with genomic damage stress and how it relates to aging. Also as apex predator the wolves will be exposed to the highest isotope concentrations from their dinner.

But remember this is wolfs without humans versus wolves that live nearer by to humans. It could be that the wolves that live near humans have an extended life, rather than the isolated wolves having a shorter one. (Off the top of my head this could be due to the wolves by humans having more access to high calorie food, for example. Or otherwise being somewhat cared for by humans in maintained wildlife areas).

Cannot rule that out entirely. Now a wolf going after lifestock might just have it's lifetime shortened but things like hunters feeding deer in winter and such. Or might be that human settled areas have a lower wolf density, thus less competition (but a decent researcher would have tried to buffer for that already). Other thing, maybe chronic isotope exposure does not trigger cancer but weakens their immune system earlier than usual, making them die earlier on average of some disease.
