Emotional intelligence is one of the least scientific concepts there are. The typical tests work like this: a group of sociologists come up with a scenario, and then they imagine a few alternative responses in that situation and score them based on what they find appropriate. That is all. There is no objectively correct answer, so what they really test for is how closely your thinking aligns with a far-left sociologist. There is no objectivity. No scientific rigor. It's ideology masquerading as science.
