Serious question, /pol/.
I’m 21, not a NEET, working, studying, trying to build something, but every chick I talk to in my age range seems mentally checked out from dating guys their own age. It’s like unless you’ve already got a six-figure income, your own place, and the life of a seasoned crypto bro, you’re invisible.
They say they want “maturity,” “stability,” or “a man who knows what he wants.” But what they really want is the 35-year-old with a loft downtown, a Tesla, and zero patience for their BS—someone who can give them the lifestyle they binge on through TikTok and Instagram. Meanwhile, guys like us are just expected to grind in the shadows and hope some girl “grows out” of that phase by the time she’s 30 and suddenly values “loyalty.”
I’m not bitter, just looking for answers.
Is this just how hypergamy works now with social media maxing it out? Are we just supposed to wait a decade until we become the 30-something with options? Or is this a rigged game from the start?
Anyone else dealing with this? Is there a way to flip the script, or are 20-something guys just collateral in this market?
Discuss.
