Bossing early on in HC/HCSSF is quite fun
SC, and eventually HC trade is pure brainrot as you describe
And builds absolutely do not play all the same, unless of course you go SC and pick the same stupid build every league

honestly if they made the campaign optional and you could level through different content like heist or delve right from the start that would address a lot of my issues frankly.
should be a new campaign every year tho frankly. just shuffle the maps, it really wouldn't be that hard.

The true fun of PoE is between when you're a new player figuring this shit out and when you've figured out that any build can be made to work at decent maps. Maybe late game bossing has difficulty.
I'll never forget my synthesis wORB build, it was so fun. Since then, haven't been able to relive the magic. The people who grind every single new league are insane

I couldn't be bothered to beat the main story campaign for that game. My mage was far too squishy and I got sniped from outside of the screen way too often, so there was literally nothing to do about that other than constantly spamming blink.
And allegedly the game is only going to get harder after that. No bueno.
