When I was maybe 6 or 7 years old I went on an unfortunate trip to Chicago with my aunt, uncle and cousin. One of her parents was from there I guess, and let me tell you, what an absolute fucking shit hole. This was thirty years ago. Dirty snow everywhere, nothing but concrete and miserable people shuffling around. No nature, nothing. Not a bird to be heard. It was one of the worst family trips or field trips I ever went on.
