The longer the war goes on, the higher the russian percentage will climb as ukraine is able to mirror russian tactics with western aid. When the war started a decent estimate of russian losses was 5-12% of ukrainian claims, but as drones became more ubiquitous and strikes into Russia became the norm, 12-17% prevailed, and today higher yet. In any case, however, the price is being paid most by ukraine who has essentially ceased to exist and only appears as something other than a rump state when looking solely at the present borders, but is exposed as a hollow entity when accounting for the deaths of over a million fighting men and the exodus of tens of millions.
