They are shutting down the internet to silence dissent and regain control of the narrative. And everyone is falling for it.
Their goals are to:
1. De-anonymize the internet.
2. Remove everything they don't like from the internet (pornography, political content, violent content)
3. Centralize the internet to ZOGGED mainstream sites.
Obviously, people would be in an uproar if these goals were openly stated. So how do you get them implemented? Implement a protect the kids scheme.
Obviously, no moral person would object to the idea that children should not view pornography. So? You make a bill to remove pornography for children. However, the definition of "Adult content" can be expanded to basically anything that you wouldn't want someone under 18 to hear. Swear words, political opposition, etc. You expand this "children's safety" not to just porn sites, but to ALL sites.
So you implement strict age gates, accomplishing all 3 goals at once. How?
1. You are giving your face or id at minimum to discuss any content more vulgar than a roblox gaming video. Do you really thing ZOG will just delete that data? They profile you. Goal one accomplished.
2. ANYTHING can be justified as adult. Obviously, if age gating was only for porn sites, this sounds reasonable, but these bills target ALL sites. So? Sites will simply age gate or remove ALL content that could POTENTIALLY harm a minor, including political content. if you wish to engage in these political discussions, you are profiled. Goal two accomplished.
3. Sites containing adult content that do not have extensive moderation or age verification, or those with users or creators who value anonymity, will be forced to shut down, as they mostly cannot comply with the "duty of care" due to financial constraints. The consequence of this? All non mainstream sites shut down. Goal 3 accomplished.
