>a japanese arcade
cause you only play those games for fun, they're video games

maybe less so crane games because of the prize, but that is still mostly about the challenge of defeating whatever mouse trap mechanic they use for all those modern crane games.

did you mean pachinko parlors?

why an old person still care about money? if you own an house, car, and got the money you need to be in a relationship and had kids and these kids are grownup, why do you still need money?

Difference is literally in hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, OP.
Arcade can actually be a little wholesome because at most people might spend 50 dollars at one, and the arcades in Japan are soulful as FUCK.
Then you got these slot machines, people will sink HUNDREDS into them. No joke these damn machines can alter the course of ones life afterwards. What is grim is old people throwing away the remains of their retirement funds to casinos like it's trash, and not investing towards their family/grandkids.

Grim.
The time you take keeping them safe under your wing while they're young, is supposed to be rewarded by them caring for you under their wing when you're too old.
It's really that simple, that's how most of our ancestors did it. Keep it like that and crap like social security and other government/retirement programs won't even matter for you. Everyone can still implement those sort of tenets in their own household, I don't see why more aren't openly like this. It's almost the biggest "fuck you" to the government, when you're just being an elderly bum staying at your kids house/property.
They *want* you hurting, broke between paychecks, and separated from family when you're old.

It’s insane how much this makes /pol/ seethe.

It is literally just 4 old people you have never met playing a slot machine that fucked a cell phone game in a building you will never go to.

I don’t know how you even justify being upset at this.

>mouse trap mechanic
It’s literally a counter that turns up the pressure after enough money is put in. The owner decides how many fails before a payout can happen. They can set it to never pay out if they want to.

I’m sorry to ruin your delusions of being a crane game master, but this really should have been obvious to you after just a couple tries.

Would they know how to use a cellphone? Picrel would be more their speed.
