How do big companies keep making record profits when they are laying off people at record numbers? Where does the overall demand in the global economy come from if the average goyim is getting poorer everywhere?

Obviously because those people aren't needed, that's why they're being laid off in the first place.

I am not talking about AI here, AI is just a good PR for the layoffs but it is not reason for the layoffs in the past 2 or 3 years., not even close.
However, the average goyim is practically getting poorer since 2020, all over the world. So where the fuck is the overall demand coming from? How do big companies keep making more profits when people are getting poorer?

The average person is getting poorer, but the use of the computer products is growing at an accelerating rate. For example, in the 1980s relatively few people owned PCs as a proportion of the population. Now everybody and his dog has a smart phone and other smart electronic devices. So as we slide towards serfdom AI will become ubiquitous and be used everywhere by everyone.
tldr: making money on volume as the penetration and adoption rate accelerates.

Microsoft is probably making more money because of Azure and demand coming from new AI slop startups using GPUs on Azure. However, that's not my question, my question is most big companies, not just tech or AI-related companies, including luxury product companies, are making record profits despite the fact that people are getting poorer. How the fuck is that happening?

Governments are Microsoft's biggest customers. The US military uses Microsoft cloud services and AI. The various government services use the same services. It's all connected now so they can track and predict everything that happens in the world in real time. The banks lend money to the government, the government gives it to Microsoft. The people get poorer because their money is worth less and they don't notice the feedback loop because everything they see is managed and controlled in real time.

Layoffs at Microsoft, Meta, Google, etc... are not driven by AI, they are driven by the fact that they have tens of thousands of useless employees that are virtually doing nothing and it's not 2019 anymore where we had 0% interest rates forever.

their increase to $27 billion consists of decreased costs (not paying employees) and increased efficiency in business practices with the ai. It doesn't necessarily have to do with increased demand

oh but sweety. they are needed. don't you understand?
if those people aren't employed then the government doesn't have an excuse to make money. they have to be employed because no one else will employ them and once they become a fent zombie from the realization they were created as a replicant to accept a bribe to ignore the suffering and be another advertisement, the rich might start getting ideas on how to cull the unemployed and pull their money out. and we are good representatives who don't want the rich to prey on the poor. trust us.

Because usage is expanding at 10 times or 100 times faster than the decline in real standards of living. Years ago only the richest people had car phones but now everyone has a smart phone that can talk to anyone in the world. If you have 100 customers that can afford your product you’re gonna make money but not that much money compared to if you have 100 million customers that can afford your product because the product is relatively easy to afford.

That's how they make the profit. Take the money in , cut salaries by cutting people, suddenly the company's doing better on paper.

They just ask the government to print them more money, which they send to their favorite partner business.

Basically they are playing with false money and hoping nobody ever asks what they did with all the money (nothing)

Big companies cannot survive on a few big government contracts
>inb4 spaceX
Microsoft, Google, Amazon are doing business with millions of businesses of every size all over the world and they have grown in the past 5 years since COVID alone almost like never before, not even like in the easy days of the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s when there was real global economy growth. Just look at their market cap in 2019 and now. Back in 2019 a trillion dollar company was outlandish, now we have many companies over 1 trillion dollar market caps. Even fucking NVIDIA has now a 4 trillion dollar market cap. Fucking Tesla which was thought to be a scam is now one trillion dollar market cap despite all Elon's retardation and meddling in politics.

My question is: How? How the fuck are big companies making more profits when the overall demand of the global economy is obviously slowing down?

From financial markets and property they speculate on. The underlying business of creating a product to sell isn't really all that important hence why they don't really care if it turns to shit.

It's not. Big tech over-employed lots of useless people after COVID, when they were already overloaded with lots of useless people even before 2020. Almost ALL of the post-2021 big layoff waves in big tech was due to that fact.

it was meta that invested in the metaverse heavily. and their stock crashed down to about 100 probably a year ago.
then they went all in on AI and its up to 777. went up like 12% the other day on their earnings report. meta is the company that is offering ai engineers like $100M to change companies
