Jokes aside, the show has been on for something like fifty years. Not sure why there needs to be new episodes constantly when parents can start their kids off with older episodes and never make it through them all before the kid moves on to other things.

Most broadcast television channels have already ended, Saturday morning cartoons have been dead for a decade now, even big cable and satellite channels are dying. But you can stream all of their most successful shows 24/7 on multiple streaming sites. My smart TV gets a bunch of live channels with old shows from networks that were "cancelled." The truth is that television is changing, most people are using streaming services now, and there are live channels that show Sesame Street, Arthur, Thomas the Train, etc. 24/7 too. We already have like a million episodes of most of these kids channels, how many do we really need to teach kids their ABC's and 123's?
