>>512194387 (OP)EU used to be way more freedom of speechy than the US. We've just reached the point the US had reached around Trump's first term when the Jordan Petersons and the like rose up, because feminism and tranny protectionism was becoming too rampant. That's when Cancel Culture took off as well.
US has always been more of a nanny-culture than the EU has. The average german and danish person used to be a sarcastic scumbag who doesn't have your back, but just as with the United States, feminism is running rampant now, trying to censor and remove everything that existed in the past 30 years because they see it as the reason they're unhappy or not as powerful as men. And the government is giving them support, and that's where it turns into real censorship.
The Online Safety Acts is still a motion led by women entering governmental facilities and police units, coordinating to strike against male habits, and pornography consumption because they think it makes men evil or something.
There's still this poorly conceived thought in modern society that civilization is supposed to be "pure" and free of any dirtiness. We're increasingly trivializing what constitutes crimes. Sex is rape by default until you prove it was consensual in most countries now. That's really fucked up when you step back and think about it. And it takes women's side for no other reason than that being turned into the norm in the past 20 years. 10 years ago we were debating whether women are "victimizing themselves" but now that's taken for granted. "Women are the victims". Next, the question becomes "are men actually all predators?" which is being taken for granted as "Men have been turned into predators by evil, nasty, websites."
