Just about any sort of blade is banned there now it feels like. You can't even buy a pair lf scissors without an ID there now.
But back in the day, even as recent as the 80s and early 90s, it was fairly easy to procure a firearm and get a license for it. It was normal to have a weapon for most of history there, or at least be able to own one. Even medieval peasants were allowed to carry some sort of blade or knife for daily use and defence.
It is ironic because even though the Dunblane shooting spurred the biggest restrictions on weapons in the UK (and it was done by a white Brit), the per capita crime has been obviously more hmmm... migrant based, shall we say. The shooting was more of the straw that broke the camel's back. And yet much of the UK was so willing to give up their weapons because it was thought that would be the solution to ending crime.
Criminals and immigrants really didn't give a shit so they just moved to knives and other blades. Now those are restricted so they use the few ones they can get their hands on, or homemade acid or whatever else. And once those things are banned they will be using blunt objects, sticks, bricks, rocks, etc to beat people to death, or maybe just sharp pieces of wood like pencils to stab people with. Or pieces of rope or wire to strangle people with. The point is, you can never ban everything people can kill with. It's easy to kill a human being, you can even do it with your bare hands. So banning stuff is not ever going to solve the issue. The only real solution is deporting all shitskins.
Libs love to say how peaceful nations like Japan and Finland are, but it is only possible because they are homogenous racially and culturally. Crime in the UK used to be WAY down before immigration ever happened. We need to return to those demographics if we ever want to see improvement in crime rates.
