I noticed there were big fires right after king charles inauguration then more recently after he visited ottawa. It seems to be a regular thing now. The fires are mostly caused by lightning, yes due to dry wood because of drought. We have more data about it than ever before and it is worse than it used to be. Maybe it’s climate change, maybe not, but clearly we need to do more to manage it.

Be mad your government isn’t intervening more. I want kilometer wide firebreaks cut into the woods, I want solar powered irrigation projects, I want massive new dams and huge new lakes to retain fresh water.
