Corporate "America" sold out their own country. Everything that can be outsourced has been outsourced. In the beginning, it moved in the large, obvious steps of physically moving plants and offices overseas to other countries. But that wasn't good enough for them. Now, every call and human interaction is being outsourced as well. Checking in at a local hotel? Talk to the jeet on the iPad screen instead of talking to a human. Trying to order a pizza at your local pizza place? Your call literally gets routed to an Indian call center because it's somehow cheaper to send a call to the other side of the world and back than it is to pay a high school student in America to work part time at Pizza Hut. They fucked this country, and I don't know how it can even be fixed at this point

Corporate America never owned America or its people. It’s impossible that they sold us out. It’s your politicians and your state that sold you out.

"They're stealing our jobs!" Doesn't really sound that loud when you have not taken those jobs in 8 months, everything gets outsourced because non-americans do that shit faster without whining about dental plans, and the country is barren of raw materials and charges an arm and a leg just for importing those from the places where they actually exist.

The politicians didn't move the businesses overseas. The politicians didn't outsource the jobs. Greedy CEOs with short term mindsets did that just to squeeze a few extra bucks out and to keep making their numbers go up.

True. Although politicians (especially Ronald Reagan) enabled those greedy CEOs to do that.
