WHAT DID THE BURGUER KING MEAN BY THIS?
One day during BRICS+ summit in Rio, for a reason I'm sure made sense to him, this King of the Americans whose name I do not know decided to start a trade war with the one country on Earth that the USA has a trade surplus on. His attitude is confusing and mostly incoherent. There is a lot of posturing and threatening, then this is followed by a 50% tariff that only makes the market more confused. Then the so-called master negotiators come and invite us to the negotiating table less than 24h after the tariff goes in effect, wanting things to be exactly as they were before while claiming he has won the trade war (?) that we did not even bother to fight because we accept his confusing invitation.

I am more confused than anything, why make american employers and american consumers go through all this nonsense then wanting to retract it all.

What did the americans do to themselves electing this man. Is he truly so offended that we casually remarked that he'd have been arrested in Brazil? Or is it the fact we had Israel denounced at the UN? Or is it that China is our largest trading partner and ally?

I am very confused about what warranted the burguer king to notice our existence and throw a tantrum at it.

Here's the thing. We need coffee for breakfast. Another thing: we need orange juice for our breakfast. Coffee and orange are needed for breakfast like eggs and bacon are. Do you understand, deputy?

Not sure. I think he doesn't like the guy who won the last election. It shouldn't be his problem but Florida makes plenty of oranges and we don't have enough choices for robusta coffee anyway.

The world economy has come to a state that can't really afford comfort for the average consumer. Covid was the beginning, then the Biden money printing really pushed everything down the slope. Everyone's metaphorically hanging on for dear life. Trump's fuckery is to flex America's position, and ultimately keep it from suffering less than others. No one is coming out of this better than they started except maybe China. The world is essentially in a free for all. They won't say it because markets are speculative, and admitting that would accelerate it all to collapse. It's managed decline.
