Cool, so you are gonna apply that same logic to raising the minimum wage and every other type of tax, right?

all costs are paid by the consumer

a business is a race to recoup costs

if there's profit, that's used to grow economically (investment)

let me know if you have any further questions

Do you understand that tariffs are used to make your products more competitive against imports and to encourage local production.

Yes whenever some suburban socialist is blathering about taxing big corporations or "free" healthcare he is leaving out the part where the costs will be passed on to you.

Trump is trying to transition the US from an Angloid nation into South American one form circa 1960, you should welcome this.

We should be taxing consumption from imports. This will harm our enemies. We can use this to reduce income tax.

Wrong.
Inflation is the loss in buying power due to debasement of the currency.
Counting tariffs as inflation is assanine and gives our adversaries control over our monetary policy.
Anyone advocating for tariffs to be counted as inflation is effectively lobbying for the interest of China.

We tariff them to protect our own industries. That's how they're supposed to work.

Kind of counterintuitive though when you tariff things that can't be made in the US. Or if you can't possibly have enough domestic supply.
