Your middle name is the Saint your parents pick to be your patron Saint. E.g. "Anthony"; who is the Patron Saint of Lost things, Jude is the patron saint of lost causes...
You get a second middle name when you are confirmed, you pick another patron saint, Like Rocco, patron saint of bad knees, dogs, and plague victims.
