Parties engaged in armed conflicts are obliged under international law not to block the flow of food into conflict zones. The current regime, under which NGOs donate food to Gaza Humanitarian Foundation which then ostensibly distributes it in Gaza, came about precisely because Israel banned the delivery of food to and in Gaza by independent actors.

This then might be the first time in history in which a jew kvetched about having to act as a middle man.
