Mfw chinks cant even build a submarine correctly
Why is it that only commie countries have these shipyard disasters/fires?

Why can chink subs be heard across the ocean generating more noise than cruise ships?

Why are chinks unable to innovate submarine reactor technology past anything greater than 2nd gen soviet reactor technology in the 2020s??

Why are chink submarines a near 1:1 copy of soviet delta class?

This isn't even paper tiger anymore but actual tofu dreg navy.

Old news but there is nothing easy about being a military superpower. It's harder than agricultural self sufficiency or establishing world class healthcare. It's a very White undertaking. You have to be careful and conscientious and then know when and how to use them both politically and technically. Changs are not there yet, and they invented gun powder. Flips however, unreal sailors.

>US discloses that we hit something 4 years ago
>see America loses subs all the time
I know we have lost subs in the past, just like every other country who has submarines. Yet, we have not had one disclosure by China on what they lost. The only reason we know this one sunk was because it was still at the shipyard we recon. You are retarded.

We do not "lose subs". Changs thinks they have they best when they steal our stuff but look at the Russians. They did not expect HIMARS or that insane British anti-tank missile. GPS guided artillery? No.. We always have something you have not seen yet, for every kind of warfare. Then you get fucks and you're saying "I don't know about that, what the hell happened?" as your tank takes a direct howitzer hit from 16 miles away. Tough break chang.

That anon is retarded. He confuses a bump into it being sunk.
However, we have lost subs on accident before in the past but disclose it. Majority of Chinese subs are diesel too. If they did get sunk, they wouldn't technically be required to disclose it publicly unlike a nuclear. Not that it matters anyways because they wouldn't disclose it.

It's dangerous to believe this as an axiom but it has recently proven to be broadly accurate. There is a fuck ton of glow in the dark skunkworks shit just waiting to be used. Decades ago, we reached a point of technological superiority in certain domains that was decades beyond anyone else in the world. We didn't just stop there and wait for everyone else to catch up.

When everyone in the world recognizes you as the strongest, most advanced military force on the planet, the value of signaling further strength becomes counterproductive. It presents a face and a vulnerability for others to see and potentially mimic. It follows that for as long as we are the strongest, we're going to keep a lot of special sauce in our pocket instead of hanging out on the table.

Incidentally, all of this is a big part of why so many people cringed at trump's meme birthday parade. Parades are a very specific kind of message. They have no direct relationship with military capability BUT because humans are suggestible... by focusing on that strategically irrelevant image and optimizing for coherence of image over integrity of structure, yes, it can have a kind of subliminal impact. The problem with this is that, unlike e.g. China, we optimize for substance. Substance and image live in different domains and optimizing for one does not imply the other is optimized in and of itself. We've just never been good at the image thing. Not really.

Trump's parade made us look weaker than we are and for fucking nothing -- eventually necessitating potentially a defense of a vulnerability that doesn't exist by unnecessary unveiling of capability or even by direct kinetic defense.

Not sure why I'm writing this at this point but if you can take anything away from this, the most important part is probably the infinitely banal but ultimately perennially relevant observation that our commander in chief is, to use the words of Rex Tillerson, a total fucking moron.

China didnt invent gunpowder they discovered the saltpetre reaction while making a guano milkshake immortality potion. Then 800 years later they /maybe/ refined it into gunpowder that was mildly usuable but real "corned" gunpowder was invented in germany

I liked the army's birthday parade. It was kino and for history nerds. It wasnt about showing off might. It was to show the history of the army. I liked seeing the ww1 era tanks and the vietnam era helicopters. If he did a parade to show might like russia or NK does, people would've freaked out here and said Trump is a fascist dictator.
