I don't know man, in elementary school I saw some kids get relentlessly bullied for stuff they had no control over. Ruined their childhoods.

When I was younger I got bullied alot. I had some self esteem issues and thought “there is no benefits to that experience”, but I got older and realized it gave me a lot of awareness and desensitized me in a way that made me more tolerant to hardship and bullshit than most other people

Bullying teaches people to not be weak, because when you get bullied you are supposed to fight back and beat the shit out the bully and you learn to stand up for yourself as a result.

I don't think it's a good thing necessarily, it's more like a rite of passage. If you just take a beating from anyone like a bitch, you're a weak beta and deserved the bullying. Fighting back and losing is still noble and shows you're a force to be reckoned with.

i think emotional abuse, humiliation, and social trauma is really fucking damaging.
it's also pure unfiltered nigger behavior so you can really tell who's who by their views on bullying.

I was bullied and I turned out OK. It teaches you to not give a fuck. I think my confidence may actually be better today because of it.

Well it's not nice to see or when it's happening but does work in some cases. One guy who was a bit of a fatty and could sing a little used to get bullied and made sing on the bus went full time Chad when he left school. Started jogging to and from the gym, cycling up mountains and shit. Got into some really good bands. I've also seen guys go from meek little guys to full time crazy bastards fighting with everyone. But some people it fucks up. My younger family members are right little fannies who I was hoping to train up a little but they can't even take a joke and they never went through the stuggle I did to become who I am. I think it's a good thing that it's not as ruthless but the world still needs people who were broken as youngsters and grew up to be resiliant as fuck. I guess the military stuff of shouting at people and stuff still works but to be a true tough character you have to have been broken down and stared I to the abyss many times as a youngster. Some countries are still brutal but they kind of turn into predatory shitholes.
