It makes perfect sense, you're just thinking smalltime.
The biggest factor our leaders and puppetmasters rely on is the slow frog boil. This, as you're well aware, is when the boiling occurs so slowly that the frog is knocked out and boiled alive. Accelerationism is where you turn the heat up too high and the boiling occurs faster and stronger until the frog is forced to leap out of the pan.
As a collective species, either way some frogs are going to get cooked or injured. You're left with the question: "do we let the slow boil continue w/ status quo thus potentially dooming us all, or do we crank the flames and though a few frogs still get burnt, it may save the rest of us?"
When you start framing it that way, the only answer logically is to push for acceleration. We cannot let ourselves be slow boiled. People will die either way but less people in the long run will get hurt by popping the frogs out of the pan as opposed to letting them all boil in their sleep.
