Government is a strong dictatorship led by Luka who is a fairly sensible socialist, entire society works on a "good enough" social contract where people are pragmatic and willing to put up with a government like that in favor of clean streets, good healthcare, white society, decent railway system etc. There is little to no non-white immigration or nigger culture or degenerate behavior beyond some lite socialist atheist boomer feminism (which is ascetism by modern western standards). The country is definitely poor, fairly corrupt and unfree but most people prefer it to the shitshow of Ukraine, Moldova etc.

And from what I see Russia as a state seems pretty good to Belarus, a lot of loans, they're even building them a nuclear power plant, though I was told this by a Belarussian and nothing in life is free or extremely beneficial for the party with less power, so most probably Belarus is getting pretty integrated into Russian sphere ever since Lukashenko requested help against the protests.
Still until you live there you cannot make judgement, a lot of their younger people left and the issues are likely not just some propaganda shit.

It depends where in Russia, but basically the 10 most populous cities in Russia are now better places to live than Belarus. Before Lukashenka decided to submit his nation to Russian oligarchs, it was unironically the best post-Soviet state to live outside of the Baltics, because as I said upthread he made an effort to play both the EU and Russia off each other and used it to cement Belarusian autonomy and make sure it didn't go either the post-shock therapy oligarchal mess of Russia/Ukraine nor completely submit itself to EU ordo-liberalism. He did a much better job of balancing Russia and EU/US interests than any Ukrainian politician, until the COVID virus derailed his regime.
