Is Israel actually going to try and conquer all of Gaza? That would mean they would need to invade, clear, then occupy the major population centers where Hamas is hiding in the rubble which Israel created. Israel has lost about 1,000 troops and 10,000 injured so far without even trying to fully conquer Gaza, and the country is already wary of the war. Trying to do this will undoubtedly increase the number of dead and wounded at least 2x. Could be even 5x the number of dead and wounded.
Is the Israeli public ready for this? Not only do they have to deal with the increased casualties, but also the increased isolation and global condemnation of a ground assault into Gaza's population center where of course they won't care about civilian casualties.
There's no other way to actually make Hamas stop fighting besides a ground offensive into these population centers, but it's going to be brutal.
