I'm being let go with a 6 month severance. around $26,000. I don't have degrees, no education, I moved here 100 miles from my home town on a $3,000 relocation bonus. I have until Monday of next week to create SOP's for the new Help Desk guy to get my severance. We had to hire a new guy because I told HR that my boss was incompetent and had no business making critical decisions. She agreed and fired him, but now also has me packing my bags because there's nowhere to place me that i wouldnt be underutilized.
