There are the Elect, and the rest. The Elect were the ones that actually followed God's covenant, the rest were the sinners. The Elect saw Jesus as the rightful messiah, the sinners that loved using the law for their own ends- self righteous justification for sin, rejected Jesus. The ones larping as followers of God call themselves Jews.

Half of these things are not biblical traditions. They are babylonian traditions lifted from their captors. After the destruction of the temple the second time around, they can't even live by the majority of their laws to practice original judaism. So they made up a bunch of rituals and call themselves Jews. Without a physical temple, there is no way to practice under the old covenant.
Note on Esther, I'm not convinced that it's really supposed to be in the bible except maybe as a warning so that we can recognize the synagogue of satan. It never mentions God(the catholics added references later), and it concerns a group of people that disobeyed Gods command to return to Jerusalem, instead, they decided they would stay in babylon where they were comfortable. Notably, the second temple, was built much smaller than the first bc only a sliver(the elect) were willing to go back and rebuild it. So you have a story that celebrates pre-emptive genocide, prostitution for power, and is based around a group of people choosing a sinful life, and never mentions anything for the glory of God. It is a template such that we can recognize these people today.
