Inside the room is a chair and a big red button on a table in front of the chair. Also on the table is a laptop with a map of the world on the screen. Your boss tells you

He then leaves the room and locks the door behind him
What do you do?
No this isn’t some twist/fedpost, he is legit holding his word, 5 places destroyed or $250k.

By the way any of those nukes is remotely controlled with a video game controller in a submarine?

Easy, I program the targets, ignore the button, then on the way out "trip" and accidentally hit it. Best of both worlds. All the nukes to india and israel.

But in reality? I'm a trustworthy guy. I wouldnt do it even if I wasnt promised any money; the human life costs are greater than anything I could ever do to offset it. I'd probably drink a coffee and listen to the radio. The money would be nice but if I'm adequately compensated I wouldnt need it; you arent bribing me not to nuke people, and if you were, I'm not that cheap.

Mutually assured destruction is the agreed upon policy if the nukes start flying but if Israels nukes couldn't reach Britain I'd probably send 1 over there and the other 4 just to make sure.
