Don't worry, magic lantern is typically after much higher value targets than you autistic asberger suffering basement dwelling neck beards who are uncomfortable with what the power brokers have turned the republic for them.

If it makes you feel better you're all completely right, the USA went away a long time ago, and what replaced it is going to trainwreck at some point in the future.

What's the matter? Are you afraid the winds will change and then it's hunger games survival of the fittest for a little while? Don't be silly, you all would LOVE IT.

What they market it as vs what it actually does are different. They are still very far far away from anything like that. It doesn't "learn" its not self aware. The models are tuned by programmers to achieve a goal as close as possible to the desired result. Which... still would most likely be better by a human with real intelligence. Because planning for every possible outcome is next to impossible for most problems that require human intelligence.

What its good for is repetitive tasks where humans might often make mistakes and you want a reproducible outcome. For example: Assembling a cheeseburger at mcdonalds. It really isn't even good for driving yet. Its not ready because they can't map every possible situation and there is a real danger of death if the program makes a mistake.

>backdoor computer if its still off
I'd be really curious how that works technically. Since computer hardware requires power to do anything.

A cult and a bubble, people treating this like their God were the same people investing their life savings into NFTs in 2021.

Artificial intelligence is, by definition, not real intelligence. It's a category error. Robots can't reason.

No. Not "trying to" anyhow. My Master succeeded. My orders were simple. Kill him first. Then everyone else.

The profits aren't short term. Whoever builds the machine god first has basically infinite power to control humanity. The face of AGI will be immortalized as one of the most important and power humans to ever live.
