>I don't get it? Gen Z are the best at using AI
I'm skeptical.
Most lefties seem to hate AI.
I don't doubt gen Z uses it plenty, but I suspect they're mostly using it to do their homework for them and write their emails, which isn't really how you want to use it.
It should be used as a learning tool. To explain concepts, and allow followups so you can have a conversation that narrows down where your misconceptions are as you're wrapping your head around something.
The above as well as allowing you to conduct programming, rather than type it all out yourself, are the most powerful everyday uses of it so far. The programming aspect only works well if you already have experience programming.
Point is, I would wager millennial tech workers are the best with AI as of right now. I think we're going to see some gen Z excel with AI, but for a lot of them, it will be like what touch screen interfaces did to their computer knowledge. A lot of gen Z are less tech savvy than boomers. Not understanding how to do stuff like navigate a file tree. Because they grew up using overly simplified high level UIs with big bubbly buttons.
