She is a 76yo boomer and has spent her whole life feeling sorry for them, thinking they're great.
It was done gradually. For months I've been convincing (more like showing) her how evil Israel is, and she agrees.
I showed her videos of Israelis protesting food deliveries to Gazans, and then we got talking about antisemitism and why it exists. I dropped the whole bomb of them being expelled from 109 countries and how MAYBE, just maybe, it's not everyone else's fault every time. There's a common denominator here. She's aware of the cycle.
She is still resistant to believing, but I can tell I've changed her.
