>>512432143>wouldn't a fictional alleged hard sci-fi doomsday kinetic kill weapon be a great way for bunker builder elites to make everyone kill each otherthere are a lot better ways to create that kind of chaos than fabricating a threat that half the population is too stupid to even understand
>some kind of galactic warcrime if the Dark Forest is not in effect?aliens don't need anything from us or our planet, an empire would be a pointless waste of resources
there is no such thing as the dark forest being in effect, or galactic warcrimes. that's what subliterates don't understand, its just logic following some pretty plausible premises:
survival is the highest priority of all civilizations
resources are finite over long enough timescales
you can't know the true intentions of other civilizations
technological development is not symmetrical
pre-emptive elimination is safer than risk
that's all you need.
>this in mind, what's to stop the bullet from being a generation ship insteadonce again, they don't need anything from us, so why would they send anyone here
>how do we actually knowlogic.
which one of those five premises do you think are wrong?
>>512433278nothing, its a thought experiment, i'm just smarter than you so patterns are interesting to me
what is it with zoomer halfwits and thinking posting about something means you're existentially committed to it being true
